Fair Housing
Equal Housing Opportunity
Last updated September 30, 2026
WiseBridge Inc is committed to equal housing opportunity. Every associate of the brokerage follows federal, Florida, and local fair housing laws in every sale, rental, and listing.
Who is protected
The federal Fair Housing Act and the Florida Fair Housing Act (Fla. Stat. §§760.20–760.37) prohibit housing discrimination because of:
- Race
- Color
- National origin
- Religion
- Sex
- Disability
- Familial status (households with children under 18, or someone pregnant or securing custody)
Local law adds more. In Broward County, the Human Rights Act also protects age, marital status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, pregnancy, and gender identity or expression. In housing it also protects military status, source of income, and people who are victims of dating or domestic violence, stalking, or human trafficking. Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties have their own ordinances with added protections.
What that means here
- Our listings describe the property, never the kind of person who should live there.
- We don’t steer anyone toward or away from a neighborhood.
- We consider requests for reasonable accommodations and modifications from people with disabilities, including assistance animals.
- Everyone gets the same information, the same terms, and the same service.
Report discrimination
If you believe you’ve been treated unfairly, you can tell us, and you can file a complaint directly with:
- U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity: 1-800-669-9777 (TTY 1-800-927-9275) or hud.gov/reporthousingdiscrimination.
- Florida Commission on Human Relations: (800) 342-8170 or fchr.myflorida.com. Complaints must be filed within one year of the last act of discrimination.
- Broward County Human Rights Section: broward.org/humanrights.
